Welcome to Simply Made Drapes! By accessing and using our website, placing an order, or engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of our website and the sale of custom-made drapery products. Please read them carefully.


1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Simply Made Drapes website ("Site") and the purchase of custom-made drapery products ("Products") through the Site. By using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our Site or purchase Products from Simply Made Drapes.


2. Account Registration

To place an order, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password, and agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering for an account or placing an order with Simply Made Drapes.


3. Products

Simply Made Drapes offers custom-made-to-order drapery products designed to fit your specifications. All Products are made to order, and you are responsible for ensuring that your order details (e.g., fabric choice, measurements, design) are accurate before submitting your order.

  • Custom Orders: All custom drapery orders are non-returnable unless defective, damaged, or made incorrectly. Once an order is confirmed, it is ineligible for cancellation or changes unless specified within our Cancellation Policy.
  • Product Availability: While we strive to ensure the availability of all products, inventory and fabric availability may change without notice. In the event of a delay or out-of-stock issue, we will contact you to discuss alternative options.


4. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing: Prices for Products and services are listed on our Site and are subject to change without notice. All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors on our Site at any time.
  • Payment: Payment for Products must be made in full at the time of purchase. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other methods specified on our Site.
  • Taxes: Sales tax will be applied to orders based on the applicable rate in your state or region.


5. Order Confirmation and Production

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email detailing the Products ordered. You are responsible for reviewing the confirmation to ensure that all details (fabric, measurements, design, etc.) are correct.

Once production begins, custom drapery cannot be changed or canceled unless there is a manufacturing defect or issue. Production timelines vary based on the specifics of your order, but we will provide you with an estimated timeline.


6. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping: We offer various shipping options, and delivery times are based on the shipping method selected. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
  • Delivery Times: Delivery times may vary based on product availability, your location, and the shipping method chosen. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.
  • Risk of Loss: Risk of loss or damage to Products passes to you once the Product has been delivered to the carrier for shipment. We are not liable for damages or losses that occur after the Product is shipped.


7. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

  • Custom Orders: Due to the custom nature of our Products, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the Product is defective, damaged during shipment, or made incorrectly.
  • Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the Product. You may be eligible for a replacement or refund for the affected item(s).
  • Exchanges: Exchanges are only available if there is a manufacturing error or defect. Custom-made items are not eligible for exchange due to changes in personal preference.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. After this period, cancellations are not accepted because production begins immediately.

If a cancellation is accepted after 24 hours, a cancellation fee may apply to cover materials or work already completed.


9. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to logos, designs, text, graphics, images, and other materials found on the Simply Made Drapes website, is the property of Simply Made Drapes or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of this content without express written permission from Simply Made Drapes.


10. Privacy and Data Security

We value your privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.


11. Limitation of Liability

Simply Made Drapes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Products, services, or website. In the event of a claim, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the Product or service in question.

Return and Refund Policy

At Simply Made Drapes, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, custom-made drapery that perfectly fits your needs and style. As our products are tailored specifically for you, we want to ensure transparency and clarity regarding our return and refund process. Please take a moment to review the following policy to understand how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled.


1. Custom Orders

All drapery products from Simply Made Drapes are custom-made to order based on your specific selections, including fabric, measurements, and design. Due to the personalized nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for orders once production has begun, except in cases of defects or manufacturing errors.


2. Order Confirmation and Approval

Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation that outlines your selections, including fabric choice, measurements, and design. It is your responsibility to carefully review this confirmation for accuracy.

  • If you notice any errors, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation. After this time, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges and delay production.


3. Defects or Damages

We are committed to delivering only the highest-quality products. If your custom drapery arrives damaged or defective, we will gladly provide a replacement or refund.

  • Please report any defects or damage within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Provide photographic evidence of the issue to help us assess and resolve the problem.
  • Once the issue is verified, we will offer a replacement or a refund for the purchase price (excluding shipping fees).


4. Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for defective or incorrectly manufactured items. Simply Made Drapes does not offer exchanges for items that were made to your specifications (e.g., fabric, size, or design changes) unless the item is faulty.

  • Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • Items for exchange must be in unused, original condition.


5. Cancellations

Once an order is placed, production begins immediately to create your custom drapery. As such, cancellations are only allowed within 24 hours of placing the order.

  • If a cancellation is requested after 24 hours, we may still accept it but a cancellation fee may apply to cover material costs or production work already completed.


6. Non-Refundable Items

Due to the personalized nature of our products, custom-made drapes are non-refundable except in cases of defects, damages, or manufacturing errors.


7. Return Shipping Costs

If you are returning a defective or damaged item, Simply Made Drapes will cover the return shipping costs. If the return is due to a customer error (e.g., wrong fabric or measurements), the customer will be responsible for the cost of return shipping.


8. Restocking Fees

In the case of an accepted return, a restocking fee of up to 20% of the order total may apply to help cover the costs associated with materials and production labor.


9. Final Sale Items

Sale, clearance, or promotional items are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless damaged or defective upon arrival.


10. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund due to a defect or manufacturing error, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds may take 7-10 business days to appear on your statement depending on your financial institution.
